That’s not true though. Below are the Roosters player losses and gains over the past five years. There’s a clear pattern that they release 6 or 7 mid to high tier players and sign a couple of stars
They fill the other positions with rookies on minimum contracts coming through. This is exactly what the Storm have done for many years
They haven’t been very active in bringing new players to the club at all over the past three seasons but have released a lot of top tier talent. Their outs have definitely outweighed their ins
I have no desire to defend the Roosters but there’s so much baseless garbage floating around when the real info is a couple of clicks away. The maths definitely adds up
They’ve lost players like SST, Cordner, Friend, Cronk, Napa, Mitchell, Pearce, Guerra, Sean Kenny-Dowell who were all highly paid players and still at or near their peak. They don’t over pay for mid tier players or over commit based on loyalty like most clubs do
The pattern goes on before that too. The Roosters – along with the Storm – are far better at managing their cap than the rest of us. It’s sour grapes to constantly be banging on about ch.eating

At the end of the day both the Chooks & your mob are powerhouse clubs with very rich men associated with them but the Chooks have been heaps more successful since the NRL has been introduced.
Its good for Rugby League to have both clubs firing & personally I can’t wait for rd 3.
Go the Mighty Roosters.

1 premiership in 50 years is totally unsatisfactory and massively underwhelming.
Your mob won the majority of their premierships when at the time it was awarded to the team first past the post (ala the EPL, just in case you can't make out that saying bc you're young and stoopid).
Also to put further perspective to your team's ineptness, all your premierships up until 2014 were played under a competition with a mere 10 to 12 teams.
Add that to your book of fools?

Roosters? 4 premierships, 5 minor premierships, 4 World Club Challenges and a whopping 8 grand final appearances.

Only one team can put claim to that.

Anyway, would rather see 6 in a lifetime than 1 every 60 years regardless of where the players came from
