All of them! And 6 in my lifetime. How many have you been alive to see?

That’s not true though. Below are the Roosters player losses and gains over the past five years. There’s a clear pattern that they release 6 or 7 mid to high tier players and sign a couple of stars

They fill the other positions with rookies on minimum contracts coming through. This is exactly what the Storm have done for many years

They haven’t been very active in bringing new players to the club at all over the past three seasons but have released a lot of top tier talent. Their outs have definitely outweighed their ins

I have no desire to defend the Roosters but there’s so much baseless garbage floating around when the real info is a couple of clicks away. The maths definitely adds up

They’ve lost players like SST, Cordner, Friend, Cronk, Napa, Mitchell, Pearce, Guerra, Sean Kenny-Dowell who were all highly paid players and still at or near their peak. They don’t over pay for mid tier players or over commit based on loyalty like most clubs do

The pattern goes on before that too. The Roosters – along with the Storm – are far better at managing their cap than the rest of us. It’s sour grapes to constantly be banging on about ch.eating

      2023
      Gains
Brandon Smith, Jaxson Paulo, Corey Allan, Jake Turpin

      Losses
Siosiua Taukeiaho, Sam Verrills, Freddy Lussick, Daniel Suluka-Fifita, Lachlan Lam, Kevin Naiqama

      2022
      Gains
Connor Watson, Kevin Naiqama, Renouf Atoni, Paul Momorovski

      Losses
Boyd Cordner, Jake Friend, Brett Morris, Josh Morris, Dale Copley, Isaac Liu, Matt Ikuvalu

      2021
      Gains
      Adam Keighran, Joseph Suaalii

      Losses
Mitch Aubusson, Kyle Flanagan, Poasa Faamausili, Sonny Bill Williams, Christian Tuipalotu, Ryan Hall

      2020
      Gains
      Kyle Flanagan

      Losses
Cooper Cronk, Latrell Mitchell, Zane Tetevano

      2019
      Gains
Angus Crichton, Ryan Hall, Brett Morris, Brock Lamb, Craig Garvey

      Losses
Blake Ferguson, Dylan Napa, Paul Momorovski, Ryan Matterson, Sean O’Sullivan, Kurt Baptiste, Reece Robinson, Eloni Vunakece, Mitch Cornish

      2018
      Gains
James Tedesco, Cooper Cronk, Reece Robinson

      Losses
Mitchell Pearce, Aiden Guerra, Sean Kenny-Dowell, Michael Gordon, Kane Evans, Connor Watson, Paul Carter, Liam Knight

Good chance the Roosters & Souths being in the GF.
At the end of the day both the Chooks & your mob are powerhouse clubs with very rich men associated with them but the Chooks have been heaps more successful since the NRL has been introduced.
Its good for Rugby League to have both clubs firing & personally I can’t wait for rd 3.
          Go the Mighty Roosters.

1 premiership in 50 years is totally unsatisfactory and massively underwhelming.
Your mob won the majority of their premierships when at the time it was awarded to the team first past the post (ala the EPL, just in case you can't make out that saying bc you're young and stoopid).
Also to put further perspective to your team's ineptness, all your premierships up until 2014 were played under a competition with a mere 10 to 12 teams .
Add that to your book of fools?
Oh dear I am in my place now. We play the game with pride both on and off the field and don't treat other clubs as breeding grounds for poached players. You are the only constantly questioned for playing the business game in a shady way. Your club is the reason so many other clubs struggle and have to pay out the arse for players. It's not just who you buy, but also who make impossible to keep.

Roosters? 4 premierships, 5 minor premierships, 4 World Club Challenges and a whopping 8 grand final appearances.
All done while poaching the games best and having stacked teams. So you bloody should have those accolades. Tbh with your sombrero you should have done a little more.

Only one team can put claim to that.
Only because we refused to merge or change our name.

you want a claim, the only team to beat your mob 60-8? Its put a deadset hoodoo on you blokes.

Aaayyyyeeeee, love this. This is what rivalry is about. Agreed your club has been more successful in the NRL era, buoyed by your owners love of rugby league.

There is something very "try hard" about spending your time on another club's fan forum. As I'm sure deep down you're aware.

Oh yeah like.. Burgess x 3 and GI.
Without them you wouldn't have gone close to winning.

Didn't realise GI was from Redfern and certainly had no idea that Lote Tuqiri and the Burgess brothers grew up out that way. Ben Teo, another fantastic local product...think he came out of Lapa didn't he?

Anyway, would rather see 6 in a lifetime than 1 every 60 years regardless of where the players came from
