This coming from a guy who played most of his career in a Brisbane team that had half the Queensland Origin team.

I remember back then the players all taking unders to stay. Locky was the Australian captain and was on their books for half his value.

The comments are so bias, there is no discussion of who is off contract and yet to be re-signed.

When the discussion changed to how many players who could earn more at other clubs he shut the conversation down.

Just because the club isn't doing anything inherently illegal, doesn't mean they aren't rorting. All that money and post league life stuff to buy premierships. I know how I'd rather win premierships.

Good for you. But you’re living in a fool’s paradise if you think there’s a single club who isn’t loathed, including yours. And probably for more legitimate reasons too than tinfoil hat accusations of cheating the cap, and for signing players who are obviously unable or unwilling to stay with their current clubs. Lucky for everyone, including us, premierships aren’t decided by popularity.
