The Utai slam and also Hodgo and Walkers pathetic attempted tackle too! Surely the weakest defensive effort in GF history.

The slam was in a normal game.

I have tried to forget that GF.

Watson has played one decent game against the team running last. He's a player of potential but I will go against the grain here and say he ends up more in the Brett Kearney/Brad Watts mould rather then ending up a superstar we will be sorry we let go.

Yeah he's definitely Work In Progress. Runs fast and backs up, but plenty of work needed in his passing game, kicking game (assists, etc.)

Connor is really a fullback. Signing Tedesco really threw a spanner in the works for CW.
I think it will come down to who has the influence on CW's decision. Being from the central coast Newcastle may not be on the cards, its an interesting relationship.

On a side note I had a little bit to do with our old nemesis Matt Utai and he is actually not a bad fellow

He might be, in his mid to late 20's. He seems small at the moment and while Slater is small, he's one of those exceptions. I don't think that he was ever going to be considered for the #1 spot if Tedesco wasn't going to be coming. We've probably would have kept Flash for another and rushed Mitchell again to be up to speed by 2019. Watson would be 3rd in line without Tedesco.

CW will be leaving at seasons end - Tigers or Knights - I suggest Tigers as with their recruitment they look a stronger side for 2018 than the Knights do - heard they had the Dragons down 28 to 10 at one stage and fell apart- not a club as yet you would want to go too I suggest as still a long to go in their rebuilding phase - Tigers have signed some decent players for 2018 and Cleary is a better coach that Brown to play under.

How do you know King? Have you played under Brown and/or Cleary?

Wouldn't make any sense to go to the Tigers considering they have already filled their fullback and 5/8 spots for next season.

He would be in exactly the same position he is now.

If he was to go anywhere I'd hope it be the knights.

They're fans deserve an exciting young player.
