SKD has been such a Club legend, does anyone really think the Club wouldn't have given him a farewell game if he hadn't of stuffed up badly.
Carter and Skidsy have only themselves to blame.
I think you are spot on JC. I was hoping this would not be the case but the circumstantial evidence certainly doesn't add up in SKD's favour.

Sad ending. SKD really is his own worst enemy. Unfortunately he had developed a habit of committing one critical indiscretion at the worst possible time each game. He scared the hell out of me with his "chicken wing" style ball carry. It's a shame the way he's gone out but there was no way he was going to be re-singed after the recent performances by our young backs. Good fortune to you Shaun.

SKD and Carter both released within 7 days.

There's more to the arrest and than the public know.
        We realise. What's your point?

I would love to see him have a proper send off. Surely he deserves that.

            That obviously won't happen.

121 tries for us, and quite a few more for the opposition.

Not the right time in the world's existence to be caught with illegal drugs.
Wouldn't want to hear the Club complaining when the next 'Roger' signs somewhere else though.

The Club has to play him for the games he's already played this season?
What about giving him a gold watch too...he's worked at the company for a long time.

Hope the Club won't be complaining next time one of its stars signs somewhere else.

                      A true Rooster legend.
The quick play the balls, the big metres gained and a wonderful ability to score a try. These are what I will remember as I am no bandwagoner and recognise all the things that SKD did.
The club will miss your charity work and the guidance given to the younger players.

I hope the truth comes out and you will be remembered as the decent human being you are

Unlike all the other players, who never make a mistake.
Not passing the ball when you should, is a mistake.
Our team made heaps of costly mistakes against Wests...with SKD not even playing.

“Shaun has made a significant contribution to the Roosters’ on-field success across his 13 years at the club, and for that, we thank him,” said Sydney Roosters CEO Joe Kelly.
“The club wishes Shaun all the very best in the future,” he added.

                          About all he's gonna get.
                          Guess that's better than nothing.

Hmmm, maybe he could play for the Storm.

He was having a crap season so I'm not surprised.
