  • SKD Released

    Sacked really.

That's a sad end for a roosters legend.

So sad. Whilst I was over the rocks and diamonds performances and didn't want him re-signed going forward, I was hoping he would get a farewell match during the season, which I reckon he deserved. But not to be ...

Best of lucky SKD, and thanks for the memories - good and bad. You won't be forgotten!

Wow, what a fall from grace.
I never disliked SKD I always thought of him as a Rooster man through & through so it's a little sad to see him go out this way.

A very sad end at the club for a Roosters legend.

I hope this doesn't affect the team harmony. I know SKD was quite popular with the likes of JWH.

We really could do with adding an experienced winger to our ranks before June 30.

becoming a bit of a club with no heart! just have to remember back to how the club treated horrie hastings to remember the heart is missing from our club
. sure at t9imes outstand9ing individuals such as trent robinson can impact with their humane nature but at the end of the day its a business, all about making money, in fact if your considering going to gosford as a member you will have to pay extra to go to this game, ive now decided i will not renew next year!

Was this "early" release a result of salary cap pressure/space?

A real shame. Had a bad feeling that he had played his last game for us. 2nd highest try scorer. Wish him luck in the future.

sad end to his Roosters career.

I'm sure there was a lot more going on behind the scenes that the public will never find out about.

Deeply deeply deeply disappointing way for SKD to finish up at the Roosters
