I feel the club has done the right thing. Many of us loved him as a Rooster but at the end of the day he has only himself to blame. Good luck SKD and hope you find your feet at another club.

Pretty shit in my opinion. Not sure why that had to happen. I suppose it's sending a message to the rest of the squad. Just don't do it. But still a club legend deserves better than that.

You will be remembered fondly for your passion and commitment.

Glad it's over but sad it's not on your terms. Thanks and good luck with your future.

I'll shake your hand as a rooster old boy

. sure at t9imes outstand9ing individuals such as trent robinson can impact with their humane nature but at the end of the day its a business, all about making money, in fact if your considering going to gosford as a member you will have to pay extra to go to this game, ive now decided i will not renew next year!
Agree and disagree, you can't keep players just because they have been loyal if they are compromising the club going forward in any way on or off the field, it might be harsh but it is business in the end, as shrewd as he can be, there is no denying the heart of the club has been uncle Nick for close to 4 decades, there is plenty of passion in that man to keep the club beating all on his own.

If only society and everyone below and in between would take the tough stance against people who go outside of the law and participate in something that brings endless misery to our society.

Thanks for the 2010 intercept try against tigers in best game of rugby league ever played, and epic effort against Manky in GF with broken jaw and everything on field before, during and after.

But there's no place for drugs and I am stoked our club stood up.

At the end of the day if I was publicly caught with cocaine, charged and the story made the media I would be sacked. I don't think there would be a lot of sympathy either. Lets not forget he disgraced himself and the club. If anything I feel sorry for Roosters supporters the most. There are probably some pretty shattered kids around at the moment.

I'm a little shocked on this one. I thought he would play out the season and get a farewell before being moved on. It's a shame it has ended this way but I guess SKD has only himself to blame. Perhaps more will come out in the court case.
I've always had a soft spot for SKD despite his rocks and diamonds performances. I will never forget his effort in the grand final with a broken jaw.

I've felt fairly detached from it, until now. Pretty sad really. All the best to SKD.

                          Wake up everyone.
SKD and Carter both released within 7 days.

There's more to the arrest and than the public know.

For those alluding that the Club have been too harsh, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that there is a lot more about this that we don't know. And never will.

SKD has been such a Club legend, does anyone really think the Club wouldn't have given him a farewell game if he hadn't of stuffed up badly.
Carter and Skidsy have only themselves to blame.

Such a shame, maybe best to hang around the "right" people. In the grand scheme of things he has his health and whole life ahead of him, hope he goes on to bigger and better things. Good luck Shaun cheers for the memories.
