We are officially under the cap.
Is there a second set of books that we don’t know about like the storm had, if there is only a few people would know and no one on here would know. A lot of other club fans probably believe there is.

Most players will take unders to have a chance to win a premiership, Moses is a prime example staying at Parramatta for a decent finical lose. Tigers would have been a big payday but they have less chance of winning than Parramatta.

GI is the only one there that makes sense to your point. S Burgess debuted in the NRL via Souths, and the twins played Flegg and cup....

Plus some average players to mix in with your NRL debutants:
              Greg Inglis
              Sam Burgess
              Ben Te'o
              Lote Tuqiri
              George Burgess
              Thomas Burgess
              Gerard Sutton
              Shayne Hayne

For the record the Roosters 2018 premiers only had these guys who weren't local products or NRL debutants:
              James Tedesco
              Blake Ferguson
              Luke Keary
              Cooper Cronk
              Zane Tetevano
Jared Waerea-Hargreaves (played 6 games for Manly prior to joining us)
Sio Siua Taukeiaho (played one game for Warriors in 2013. Unwanted and debut for us in 2015)

And the Roosters 2019 B2B premiers:
              James Tedesco
              Brett Morris
              Luke Keary
              Cooper Cronk
Jared Waerea-Hargreaves (played 6 games for Manly prior to joining us)
Sio Siua Taukeiaho (played one game for Warriors in 2013. Unwanted and debut for us in 2015)

He told the story of how Connor Watson had contacted him to set up a meeting to discuss his side business he has with Kalyn Ponga and it's that sort of expertise which we sell as one of the benefits of signing with the Roosters. The Bulldogs might have offered a player $700k and we might offer them $600k a season but we can sell them on the shortfall by saying we can help make sure that they make the most of that $600k, reduce your tax, make sure it's invested so that one day in the future the $600k is worth exponentially more than the Bulldogs offer. Other fans don't get this and when it's explained they think it's still 'rorting the cap'.

                Thank you.
                It all explained perfectly clearly.
Exactly a large part of why players sign with the Roosters for less.
Add in Bondi beach, Allianz Stadium, the Roosters way, what it means to be a Rooster, encouraging young men to be of good character etc.

"Tallis accuses Roosters of cheating the cap".
If that is exactly true, basically accusing the Roosters board and officials of being cheats, dishonest....that could be seen in some light as "defamation"?

maggot ridden, shite hole of a club took most of our junior teams- and yet we’ve STILL won 6 premierships to your pathetic 1 in the last 40 years. Hahahaha
”In your shadow”??? What a joke. soufs are nothing more than a skid mark on the undies of Sydney rugby league.
If it wasn’t for old Rusty’s $$$, you’d still be languishing in NSW cup as NRL wannabes.
Juniors??- Quite a few English and QLD acquisitions in the vermin of late lol….still, must be nice being the perpetual CHOKERS every year.

Right, so buying an established International (he debuted for England in 2007) counts as a local junior? Because he hadn't played for another NRL team?

                      HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

In that case, Nat Butcher must be Roosters junior, because he made his NRL debut for us ... and Egan, wait, so did Sua'ali'i ... he's our too then !!

The big difference is that my people (Easts) don't need to steal devices like your people (Souths) in order to log onto your so called forums. I highly doubt there are as many Roosters fans as you think on there. Most of us have jobs for starters (I'm waiting for my lunch to cool down ) and there is no vaccine for any sort of virus our members may pick up from your forums.

You remind me of the one who always protests too much about something yet cannot seem to leave it alone...

A lot of these aren't particularly valid, George Burgess for example played youth internationals for England before Souths even signed him, he's a local product of whoever developed him before that, Api was playing in Bankstown league, Sam Burgess played almost 100 league games professionally and was a regular in the national team before Souths signed him, Keary was developed in QLD and did just a one season stint in the Souths youth team, Kyle Turner did most of his junior football 6 hours from Redfern, Tom Burgess had played like 2 seasons as a professional before signing up with Souths, he isn't a Souths junior.

They did have a lot of players in that squad who debuted at Souths which is great but you're misrepresenting how many of them were genuine Souths juniors, from memory a majority of the Roosters grand final sides have featured players who debuted at the Roosters as well.
