A total invention by the media. Because apparently the Roosters have to choose between Sua’lli’i and Teddy in 2 years’ time, they’re trying to project tension between the two. Pathetic, gutter journalism - present a non-existent problem then use anything - ANYTHING - to “prove” it.
In real time I did wonder if Sua’ali’i thought twice about passing it to Teddy after he dropped Walker’s pass earlier, but on second viewing, he was just backing himself. It happened quick, and the try was scored, so I think that’s that.
Haha im just imagining joey S in the middle of the break looking and teddy and thinking withiin a second "me not passing will guarantee me fullback in 2025"
