Jeez I reckon my late granny could have executed that pass successfully.

Exactly, it was a no brainer for an easy try under the posts and an 8 pt lead vs a 50/50 chance of a try in the corner to be followed up by a 50/50 conversion. So not sure if he is a bit dim or just maybe lacking confidence in his passing skills at speed.

Yep. First graders don't mess up those opportunities.

I remember a few years back Boyd Cordner having a few weeks of stuffing up some simple draw and passes.

Yes Jo'su made a big mistake....but he's a 19 year old who has played just 26 games of first grade- i'm sure it won't be his last mistake

Kyle Flanno had a sprint coach. You can improve your technique which may help your speed a bit but you either have it or you haven’t.

I thought I read somewhere that Joseph was a junior sprint champion and had a future in athletics if he wanted it.

Hard to tell where he's at with the limited opportunities he's had but I was expecting a little more pace than what we've seen so far.
Real pace is what we lack but maybe Dom Young will change that.

No. This shouldn’t be a thread.

One thing i didn't realise about Suaalii coming through is his lack of pace.
And imo, that’s why I’m not sure where all the fullback talk comes from.

WAIST,,,,, not WASTE.... when saying to tackle below the WAIST.
To be fair, sally’s comment was just a cut and paste from Google. Can’t blame the poster.

Far out, these absolute twats in the media (including 9WWOS NRL), really revel in seeing the Chooks fail at every turn don’t they?!?
Media dicks are driving their agenda hard to see JS anywhere BUT at Easts.
Gonna be LMAO next season with our bristling backline and hopefully a fully fit forward pack.

Now rothwit is saying that Suaalii is "desperate" to play fullback.
I've never heard any of the players involved or Robbo comment on this situation.
                          They're making it up.

Ha ha, I’m going to say yes. Teddy dropped a sitter just moments earlier, so Joe wanted to teach him a lesson!

do we have to give air time for every dumb piece of journalism?

Unless I hear a quote from Suaalii that he is desperate to be an NRL fullback I’ll take every article I read with a grain of salt.

Some of the crap being dished out in the media atm is laughable.

As an FYI, even Latrell didn’t switch to fullback until he was 23, so why the rush for JS.
