Did Suaalii purposely snub Teddy?

Fitness and conditioning could be the other factor and over time he should be able to better his speed/pace !

Nonsense media beat up.
One defence of Suaallii on this instance is that this is the first time in about 5-6 years that I've seen a winger in either League or Union, in any country, at any level transfer the ball into the correct hand.
Rex Mossop used to get flabbergasted when 1st grade wingers wouldn't/couldn't carry the ball in the correct arm. He'll be singing Allelujah in footyheaven.

And while I'm on this tack, I cannot believe that Easts just cannot get the short kick off correct (in defence or attack). It's ludicrous. This one (and only this), I'm putting on Robbo.

A total invention by the media. Because apparently the Roosters have to choose between Sua’lli’i and Teddy in 2 years’ time, they’re trying to project tension between the two. Pathetic, gutter journalism - present a non-existent problem then use anything - ANYTHING - to “prove” it.
In real time I did wonder if Sua’ali’i thought twice about passing it to Teddy after he dropped Walker’s pass earlier, but on second viewing, he was just backing himself. It happened quick, and the try was scored, so I think that’s that.

Back in the day we would train twice a week - Tuesday and Thursday - Tuesday would be defence and Thursday the Attack.
Throw in the 2 markers having a rest allowing players to run from dummy half at will - markers are more like traffic cops or butlers in allowing that to happen.

Whether he knew it was teddy or not is debatable, but he did 100% look at his support and then elect to go himself. extremely selfish mistake that he’ll hopefully learn from.
I don’t think it’s really debatable that Teddy and Sualli are going to be competing at every training session for the next 2 years though. He’s made it clear he wants to be a fullback, and I can’t imagine we’ll have any chance of keeping him past 2024 given the dump trucks of money that will be offered to him by 16 other clubs plus union by then
