Just back from a lovely afternoon at an Eastern Suburbs beach. Cracking thread this. I actually didn’t think this would go in this direction The bedwetters are really arking up here. Carry on. I’m about to do my tax Can’t wait to see if this thread follows the same trajectoryWhen you trust your television

To those that say its not that serious. I worked with a couple of people that lost relatives overseas. One got it and 3 days later was dead. A good mate lost his dad in the UK to covid. A family we know in the eastern suburbs of Sydney got it the 2 young kids and the dad were sick but could handle staying at home. The mother spent 9 days seriously ill in hospital ( no pre existing conditions) she still sounds terrible. An ex NRL Rooster caught it recently in the UK and was extremely ill
These are just a few examples that I know of personally. To wear a mask I don't consider that an imposition, if you do then I think wearing a mask is the least of your problems. Staying at home, no sport and the lockdown I am no fan of but if it means that my family and friends especially the older ones are a bit safer, well there has been worse.
Has our govt been great, no but they have been far from the worst, Sweden (a pop of 10m) are denying it and already almost 15K have died .
One of our biggest problems is the media, mixed messages, dumb ass questions and plain unprofessional BS. All about trying to be "clever" instead of providing information.
Do what you want, but just remember as much as many seem to want everything to be about themselves, its not.
If you struggle to do a few simple things, abide by a few simple rules, then you really are not much of a contributor to society are you.
Not necessarily meaning to sound accusation but its not that hard really. Just because you don't know anyone affected means bugger all. If you need to bring Trump into it (or any US politics at all) then shit you have missed the point of life all togetherThe Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

And i have lost a friend (Not a close friend but never the less)....he died from taking the vax...let's not pretend the vax ain't killing peeps...this is no conspiracy...looks up government health sites....10s of thousands of vax deaths.
Just seen small scotland public health dept....5,522 vax deaths within 28 days.
So yes, I'm taking this whole situation seriously enough. Thanx..

He did it on Thursday night when the game was still on the balance but once we got on top of the Eels, he disappeared. He's been doing it for years. Perhaps he's a souffs fan or maybe just triggered that Jnr Pearce isn't here anymore and can't get over it.

10 dead in Sydney already in this latest outbreak.
Someone's loved ones.
200+ new positive cases today.
Obviously Qld doesn't want the same.
Qld has 1 or more people who've tested positive who travelled around anywhere and everywhere, even thru the sunshine coast, apparently.
Lockdown until they get a handle on it.

Yeah Trump got it and was working on his desk the next day and driving in a limbo waving at the peeps. Seriously deadly disease this one....NOT
Well, it's the media that's dishonest. That Ch9 segment was broadcast to all...these are not my quotes or broadcast...I'm just the messenger..
At best it's ignorance but I think you know you're being dishonest to perpetuate your argument.
I just think it's hilarious to see people blame the media for their dishonesty when they do it themselves. Glass houses, that's all.
I don't really care much for the argument of how serious or genuinely dangerous this virus is, I'm not well educated enough on the topic to have a strong stance either way.
But if you are going to have a debate about it at least be honest.
