FWIW (and maybe it's not worth much) i'd say BB is a bit of an aspie. probably been bullied all his life so has developed a kind of thick skin blithely going on his merry way. i'd also guess most/all of what he writes about himself is the truth.
i don't agree with some/a lot of the things he says but there's no doubt he's one of the unique characters on this site. live and let live.

He is correct in saying that and as such I would say he is not clueless.

...having been mentored at church Sunday school from a small boy, with song, that::
"Red and yellow, black,and white,
all are precious in His sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world".
Fast forward to today, where dogs are being skinned alive and tossed alive nto tubs of boiling water "the more tortured the meat the better it tastes"...in seemingly most of Asia etc...and I have to cower in my home for fear of dying from a virus eminating from there which is killing people of my ilk etc...so I ask that question.

Asian countries fear coronavirus resurgence: "I am nervous"
*******************
https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/co...9defe4eda3d4e4
Australia has taken a swipe at the World Health Organisation which has stunningly backed China’s right to reopen its “wet markets”, largely suspected to have been the initial source of the global coronavirus pandemic.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison said it was “unfathomable” WHO has supported live animal markets, which the UN body claimed was a source of livelihood and food security for China’s vast population.
Despite the virus, COVID-19 has now infected 1.9 million people and killed 120,000 in 215 countries – having originated in Wuhan, where those wet markets opened on the weekend after being closed in January.
“I’m totally puzzled by this decision,” Mr Morrison said.
“We need to protect the world against potential sources of outbreaks of these types of viruses. It has happened too many times.”
A wet market in Guilin, China, selling dog meat as well as live dogs for slaughter.

I'd love to see the posts you refer to about being a 13 yr old and having my dad who died in 1988 introducing me.
Might I suggest that someone else was playing games.
I haven't checked because I'm too 'scared' to venture out of the village gates...lest my footy supporting days get cut short. Community transmissions are increasing.
Even staying inside the gates could see me in trouble if I have contact with other people....refer Caddens retirement village near Kingswood western Sydney, a staff member has allegedly infected 2 residents and 2 other staff. 100 residents and the other staff are being tested. Police now investigating.
My village has hundreds of residents, some were planning to take cruises and be returning about March, I'm told...I'm not a social butterfly.
Others were away in caravans/motor homes [before the restrictions]. Are they home now, where have they been to, with whom did they socialise?
Now the village streets are empty, whole place resembles a ghost town, seems my ilk are a lot wary too.
All I know is that I've placed 2 online orders with WP in the last 2 weeks and am still unable to order TP. In my mind that is not 'back to normal'.
RWB has given me some advice about something to try.

Born in Rose Bay a year after the war, I lived in Bondi until I was 4.
According to me, my screen name qualifies for use in this forum.
I still have some. When I was venturing out into society before all the new rules, and there was plenty I bought a packet every week,
Then when the limits started I lined up on one morning at 7am and got another packet.
The people lining up were all standing close to each other.
The store was packed, shoppers like sardines in a can.
I was wearing a mask.
Since then I'm staying home.
I'll be fine thank you...rumour has it that the Retirement Village management will not see any residents stuck.
Something about Ms Greiner heading a special govt committee investigating treatment of the elderly in retirement villages and aged care(aka 'assisted living'/nursing home.)
Think one too many scenes on tv of elderly folk with dementia etc in nursing homes being bashed.
I like to provide for myself though.
I do thank you again for your help and will try your advice.
Worry not please.
You're a character, Bongdi. Don't change!
PS - supermarkets are back to normal if you haven't checked. There's TP lining the shelves of most now. Guessing you didn't know coz mummy and daddy do the shopping for ya. It's okay

Just heard on the news that the "Qld Premier wants to call off origin this year because she is worried her team will get sick." But half her team live outside Qld anyway? Sounds like she is looking for away to ensure her team doesn't lose 3 years straight

If you and Mrs BB do get stuck, there is an option to set up priority delivery. My sister and uncle are from your generation so I am happy to help if I can.
