Had a starter motor though...which I guess is supposed to start the motor.

My car did have a crank handle.
How do I know this?
I was spun 'around' on it more than once.

Sometimes it used to get stuck, like everything else on the car.

Came back to car...someone had put a dent in the roof, filled it up with sand, and put a brick on top.

The very old car had a crank handle( which got much use), bench seat, push button start and a column shift.
Too many near misses, failed brakes, blown tyre sending me across the road to the right and up a side street.
Put hot water in the radiator to warm up the engine...seemed like a good idea at the time.
If only I'd been taught about cars and not Shakespeare.
I was a tireless advocate for rego checks/
pink slips.
