Pearce is no longer with us and Cronk was one of our best out there. So it wasn't the half back but the predictable up the middle stuff, with no offloads that made the Tigers look so good.

But yes Rooster 6 Pearce would have been a whipping boy - I get it.

Can't blame new combo's to be worked on, Tigers and most other teams also have to work on them also.
We just played crap, don't know if it was a poor game plan or players reading to many newspapers saying we have won the comp and believing they just had to turn up for the 2 points.
Back home next week against the dogs, need a real quick attitude change which I think will happen.

Radley's service immediately perked up the entire attack for the few minutes he was allowed on the field. If he keeps that up you can bet your bottom dollar Friend will find some sort of "attitude" problem with him and quickly shift him out the door like he has with all aspiring dummy halves at the Roosters.

I think Robbo is coaching like someone under pressure which of course he is - A game plan of no errors and limited expansion in attack will always come undone when the other team aims up in defence - Needed to play Matto at 5/8 - Cornish is solely a 7 and having two 7's in the run on team was one too many. No Guarantee Keary will be back next game and will be short of a gallop in any case. - Team for next week should be- already the chinks in our chances are appearing and it's only round 1- expect every team to be fired up playing us since they made the Chookies underserved favourites and they had the so called easy draw.

What I saw out there today was one side, in the Tigpies, who played their best game and only just won because of that pass that didn't bounce over the sideline off someone's head. The Roosters, when they click, will be a top side, that's the best Wests can do.

This is wishful thinking. Note our error and penalty rates as well as completion haven’t changed and this year it’s a much tighter comp. Today 9 penalties and 13 errors with 68% completion rate. This is the same rubbish we get year after year and note we cant seem to make the GF - wonder why?
