I didn't get to watch the game because i was at the Wyong Vs Newtown game because my son was doing the coin toss and running out with the boys and i tell you what, there are some players for Wyong who should be playing first grade NOW. In my opinion Mitch Williams would run rings around Jake Friend he set up two tries yesterday and was explosive out of dummy half. Put it this way if he didn't play Wyong lose simple as that. Luke Sharp at fullback is lightning and a great player. Lindsay Collins had a great game and so did Farmer silly.

I actually agree. I thought the Tigers played really well. I didn't think we played terrible, we were very cautious and weren't willing to take too many chances. I think we missed Keary a bit too. On to next week! I think Cronk showed some pretty good signs though.

I'm concerned Cronk might be passed his best and whilst Tedesco is a very good player is he that much of a step up from the quality Michael Gordon provided?
Should Politis have focussed on buying 2-3 gun forwards instead? Other than Cordiner the rest are standard.
Jake Friend is looking even slower at dummy half and the new play the ball rule will expose him even more.
I can't see Robinson lasting the year if last night was any indication of his motivational skills. Not exactly Craig Bellamy in that department.

I think Cronk was actually pretty good, playing in a team of players he hasn't had a whole lot to do with. He'll come good in a couple of rounds. His 40/20 yesterday was outstanding. While yesterdays game was quite underwhelming, I'll reserve judgement until Round 4/5. Tedesco has stacks of potential, but given it was Round 1 and he was playing his old team - I'll let this one slide. Only this one though. Looking for massive improvement next weekend.
