not a fan of this flat style attack, we basically ignored our left edge the entire first half, Teddy/Mitchell going to waste.

we badly miss Keary's running game, Cronk/Cornish just aren't a real threat to take the line on.

Robbo should have had Matto at 5/8 to run - Cornish is a 7 an organising type and not and has never been a ball runner- too much of the same in the Cronk and Cornish combo which is not troubling the Tigers defence - Surely all players knew about the play the ball crackdown though??

I like this young Cornish, good back up half but hope Keary is not far away

We’re missing Keary more than we think. He was our spark in attack last year and so far there’s been no spark at all without him. No penetration in attack at all. Welcome Cronk and Tedesco to the undisciplined roosters who’ll make an undisciplined player out of you guys too before long. Fergo is having a good game so far.

If we we don’t pull our finger out an upset is definitely on the cards.

Cronk a class above our robotic style in attack and defensive organisation. But same old, same old reliance upon physical domination. So easy for Tigers to defend against. Getting outcoached here. so far.

Absolutely nothing from dummy half... even our wingers etc aren’t zippy players.

I don’t buy the ‘round one’ logic. There are 26 rounds and we need to win as many as we can to be successful. Every teams going to be rusty in the first few rounds but there’s no reason why we can’t win rusty.

Defense has been good. Need to cover their offloads though.
Friend needs to clear the ball quicker. Far too slow and really pushes the limit with forward passes from dumm half.
overall, not a bad half but not a good half either. Could be up 6-2 atm.

Yeh Tigers offloads have really got them out of trouble quite a few times when they have been working the ball out of their own end. If we can limit the offloads we should see some dominance in field position.

Looking for positives at the break liking the style of Fergo (gulp) and Liu. Young Cornish has looked ok but no Keary.

Pretty clear the coach has told them to just complete sets and hold onto the ball. Why all the whippin of friend? Liu and sst aren't timing their runs which happens at the start of the season.

25 rounds now.... The problem about the first round is that it evens each team out. Whereas we may have the 'best' players on paper, the lack of experience evens it all...
