Do people who follow shit clubs look forward to the start of the season as much as us? Or is it because they live dull, meaninless lives they have nothing else to look forward to other than being beaten by the Chooks?

It's astounding the difference in quality between the two sides. I'd be interested if anyone could find a more lopsided match up in round one of the nrl in the past 10-20 years. Not just score wise, but talent wise on paper.

Could be lopsided ...most shit teams go alright for 3 or 4 rounds then disappear .I expect to win well.Too much power

Poor Tigers. Had to pay overs to field such a poor squad.

Not even ivan can attract quality. Retention committee kept 4th best of big 4. Spoon contenders

Not happy meeting the Tigers this early. They'll be full of hope and enthusiasm and will know quite well the recent record between the 2 teams and will want to improve on that straight away. I am looking forward on the indirect impact Cooper has on the team. I think JWH will be buoyed by a the on field general that expects the best.

Lol we will win this 30+ look at their backrow, bench, halves .. Their whole squad. Surely they'll get the spoon.

How often have we've gone into a game thinking we got it, only to come out disappointed? Hey v Cowboys in the finals...ok!!!!

Cowboys had a quality roster and were in winning form. The tigers will struggle to win 4-5 games this year.

All I'm saying, is that I hope we don't go into this game thinking we have the 2 points in the bag...is that OK?

Yeah of course. I'm usually always cautious approaching most games thinking they will be tight. I just think the tigers have a reserve grade quality team this year. When Josh Reynolds is your big money marquee signing you have a problem.

Games are not played on paper though- this will be a tight game and Robbo will need the team up as if they are playing any of the top sides - Many Many Many times I have seen the Roosters lose games to teams they should have beaten well. It`s about attitude and execution and the Roosters will need to show this from round 1 and throughout the season - no good/bad and the ugly in the same game - need to be much much more consistent to live up to the expectations of being a genuine contender in 2018.
