I understand completely. But isn't that the case with most threads? I bet there's not one thread here that stayed on topic without Moderator intervention.

Mate at work played against him in the local league a few weeks ago, they thought they would give him a touch up because he looked so small, but he said Cornish tore them a new one, really quick, did what he wanted. Amazing how a player that is not looked at as much in the NRL can completely dominate the local comp, there is a definite class and talent difference, just goes to show how good you have to be, to be lucky enough to play just 1 NRL game, let alone 16yrs of it.

we all show our passion and frustrations on the forums at times, but the players do deserve a lot more credit than some of us give them sometimes.

Apprently both Tyler and Nick are playing in the same team. Nick is smaller but doing very well too.

True mate, just to make grade means you are several classes above your avge player, it's an achievement in itself.

The big difference is in the fitness levels of the pro compared to the bush player. My son did a pre-season with the Cutters this year and the difference it made to his game when he went back to the local league was amazing. Tyler Cornish is probably at the NSW Cup level as a player, too good for bush footy but not good enough for NRL.
