just for the readers. I find it funny how Hammo was a name mentioned. Hammo was the faiders development coach a few years back. (been around for along time), skills coach and talent scout(kind of). Hammo is now with the Tittans in the same role. Funny thing is Hammo was the guy who got Mitch the gig at the faiders. Funny how hammo is now up at the tittans and grabbed onto Tyler but let him go early season without a contract. The Tittans are looking like the Canberra raiders of old. Having Neil Henry, x faider, Hammo x faider and two other guys, one in the strength department and the other a tec dude.

Tyler Cornish found more grass during that game than the drug squad. Seeing an actual halfback, being trained by one of the greatest halves to play the game, in action was great.

Only Tyler Cornish wasn't actually there.

I find old threads and 'I told you so' threads really annoying. Some people must be really bored.

I don't usually do it but the guy was a d0uchebag who used an appeal to fake authority rather than a balanced argument, then refused to back down.

He kinda walked into this one...

Man someone really did a number on you. I'm just so confused how your use of local Canberra fanatics as a source of information is any more of a "balanced argument" than Headless Chook's source. I could be slightly off but I'm pretty confident Headless works/previously worked in junior development in the Canberra area. So it's very plausible that he does know Dave Hamilton.

He also mentioned that he was looking to move him into fullback because he didn't think he had much chop as a half before the Roosters picked him up. So you don't think it's possible that "Hammo" saw some potential for him as a fullback (because he does have a deceptively decent running game) and thought he might be a better fit at the Gold Coast.

I'm just a bit confused how any of this makes Headless Chook a douchebag. Or maybe it's just me you're calling a douchebag. That I can understand. I'm enjoying this way too much.

In my defense, that was written at 12:40 in the morning. Hopefully you know I meant Mitch.

I know I dont have to. But quit now Jizzmeister.

Headless Chook and the Yakster are completely different people. Yak who wont blow his trumpet is involved with one of the feeder teams for Manly.

Headless was involved in coaching and playing down group 9? In the Canberra region and would have some reputable contacts.

As for me I am just a hanger on. (used to play and more with Touch football these days) So I dont know a real lot. However, you are good bloke mate and your posts are always great to read whether factually correct or not.

The crux is Heado got 0wned because he said Mitch isn't anywhere near NRL quality and will never play NRL. I said no... he's played 20 games and was hot property down in Canberra. GOOD SIGNING.

Ratuer than doing a Google and finding out about Mitch (who he'd never heard of before), Heado just claimed he knew an insider who said he'll never be NRL standard. This would seem a really odd thing for David to say becaue (do a quick Google)... he's a big fan of them.

And no he didn't punt Tyler from the GC. He talked him up big time, got him a short-term contract to cover for an injured Jarryd Hayne then Hayne recovered (so the 1st grade coach, not David) punted him to free up the salary cap. If you saw him play, he was actually quite awesome... forget which game but early on he took a key ball with 15 seconds to go and secured a win for the team.

Just to add to that Tyler Cornish left the GC because they would not actually offer him a top tier contract even though he was playing first grade, Base on that he decided to return home.

Because you do not know ny NRL insiders, you lied about having inside info and after seeing Mitch play (something I'd seen before since I live in Canberra) you have been proven to be an utter clown.

Oh yeah 'Hammo'... like using a fake nickname for a guy you don't even know (after I've researched him and found out he actually signed Tyler because he rates him highly... contrary to your BS lies) gives your lies some kind of credence. The only Hammo on this forum works for an RSL club in Brisbane...

Bigger picture... if Watson leaves, Mitch Cornish could be playing a LOT of 1st grade very soon.

K funny, both have had decent stints in 1st grade this season.

As the closest thing to somebody with inside info on this forum (I live and work in Canberra... in amongst Raiders fanatics who know a bit about local juniors) the Cornish boys have talent.

Mitch was a good signing and has a lot of development in him with the RWB.
I wouldn't know how he went mate, I'm assuming he played for Goulburn on the weekend so you would need to ask somebody with a bit more knowledge of the Canberra comp. That comment I made was in reference to Tyler not Mitch so you have things ballsed up a bit buddy.
