The drivel coming out now is embarrassing but amusing. Hoping his shit form is because the players hate him
FM is he a professional or not?
A fresh start will surely get him another shot at SOO because he is going to find his old form
But keep the straw clutching going. I need a good laugh.
No stats for this week's round yet. Probably trying to find an angle.

P.S. Wasn't that line break and pass by Hugo to set up Toups' last try sublime?
I've already acknowledged DCE has had a bad 3 weeks, there has been no straw clutching, he was no good last night and struggled against us as well, nobody ever said he's going to play himself back into a Origin jersey or even that he's going to find his "old form" (What year would that be?), you are literally arguing with yourself which is a bit weird.
What I will say though is writing him off after 3 losing games against two teams in the top 2 and the Roosters that probably would've been top 4 this year with our current squad isn't exactly fair. You talk about stats, despite DCE's poor 3 weeks he still leads Hugo Savala and Sandon Smith combined in almost all key halves stats so if he's this awful player that shouldn't be at the club then you must feel the same way about Hugo and Sandon also. Oh wait, no you don't, funny that.
As for your dismissal of mental health, mental health is very important not just in day to day life but also sport. It would be hard for DCE to play to the best of his ability if the rumours we're hearing about are true with falling outs between coaches, management and other players. You can shout professionalism all you want but why would he be overly motivated to win a comp and go hard at a club that he now at a minimum dislikes and potentially hates? If you work the fries machine at Maccas and you hate your job, your colleagues, your manager and everyone else do you go in and give your all? No chance.

It's the most complementary halves pairing we've had since the Pearce/Carney and Pearce/Maloney days it's madness to break it up
Carney and Pearce resulted in a Dally M Award and a grand final appearance, Maloney and Pearce resulted in a grand final win, you're also forgetting Keary and Cronk who took us to a back to back premiership as well, lets just wait until the duo knock off a team running better than 8th on the ladder before comparisons to some of the clubs greatest halves pairings.

I like Hugo and Walker but as a combination they struggled to beat the Dragons, dominated Manly and pumped the Dolphins. That's 2 teams that are firmly out of the 8 and one that was just barely in it and won't play finals footy this year anyway.

Why bring the mental health card into this discussion? Nobody has brought it up until you now. You are finally right with one point. Mental health is very important not just in day to day life. I have people in my life who suffer from it so I know plenty about the topic. Trying to throw it into a discussion to try and prove a point on whether we need DCE or not is offensive and a low act by you. Stick to your stats.

Your response to that? "**** me, is he a professional or not?". Doesn't seem all that sympathetic and doesn't seem like I'm the one being low.

We don't know for sure and it isn't our business but smart money would bet that DCE feeling betrayal from the club he loved, losing his Origin spot and being in an uncomfortable work environment may impact his mental health like it would to many of us.

Dear Trent and Nick,
We respect your coaching ability and club management enormously and what you both have a achieved for the Roosters club will live a long time in the history of the club. With the departure of so many senior players at the end of last year, the desire to bring in senior competent playmaker to guide a young squad around appeared to be sensible.
The club is in a completely different position now as to when the apparent decision to sign DCE was made. DCE's form is a shadow of his previous outstanding form and conversely the halves pairing of Hugo Savala and Sammy Walker has progressed so significantly to make the original decision not only unnecessary but a retrograde step to the overall team's future performance.
Integrity matters and should be equal from both parties perspectives. DCE should recognize his form is no longer of first grade standard and similarly a contract offered needs to be honoured. However with mutual integrity and respect,
respectively, the sensible position would be to renegotiate the contract such that face saving he becomes only a joint halves coach next year. Yours sincerely Gragra

We were outstanding last night and certainly have those performances in us. Savala is going along nicely and as others have mentioned matches up well with Walker. DCE will be coming though and for me the bigger call will be in 2027 when there could be a chlice between Savala & Rodwell. In regards to last night, the Dolphins were without 7 from their starting team. When we are healthy and on very few teams can go with us. Missing 7 of your best 17 basically gives you no chance when the Roosters are in that mood

The DCE signing (if true) is now an absolute joke, and poorly played by DCE and the Roosters. Stupid 12 year old games.
Yep we have had some bad losses this year. And yes I have been critical of Robbo. But we decided to go in a different direction this year - young / academy etc. We need to stick with this. Just like the Pamfers did with N Cleary and J Luai.
No to DCE.
