If only making the finals then getting knocked out is our goal then we’ve been very successful. The ill discipline is the difference between making a token final and winning the premiership. So the question should be how many premierships have we forfeited through ill discipline.

i thought rads's first binning was a bit harsh but sure they could have been smarter with the other two. souths could have been smarter with all 4 of theirs and we could have been smarter when they were down a man. we didn't score a point when they were down a man.

A win against manly, then against dolphins next week will have the major bearing for the last spot in the 8, dolphins and manly then play each other after that.

a loss tonight would pretty much be our final nail.

it's no longer a 2 way battle for eighth spot between us and the dolphins and more like a 5 way battle for the bottom four places in the 8.
the bad news is that even if we win all of our last games we're not guaranteed to get there but that would require a diabolical set of results in other games.
