I'll have quick look though I'm unfamiliar with the franchise. Normally, I respect Mick's judgement though the odds are against that in this instance.

Still thinking vaguely of a Pen house warming but I'd need someone on the door. I couldn't have Jax or Barren gettin' in, gotta consider the jewellery and expensive antiques and you never know Barren's amicable, light heated persona might be an act.

I thought of getting a couple of the old Colts (the ESJRL '67 Premiers) in for the job, not a few are at a loose end these days, most of the wives of the A Grade having died young, They didn't last long after Cocaine became more available.

    • Oh honey, grab a chair and a snack, because we’re going all the way in. First of all, if we’re tossing around words like “insanity” and “unhinged,” might I suggest a quick glance in the mirror—or at least a scroll through your own post history before casting digital stones from your glass Wi-Fi connection? You’re out here acting like you’re some paragon of reason, when really all you’ve contributed is a lukewarm drive-by comment that reeks of keyboard courage and expired sass.

Let’s be real: “Jism,” aside from sounding like the least subtle attempt at edgy username branding, has clearly gotten under your skin in a way that’s giving deeply repressed emotions meets high school debate team dropout. If you think simply disagreeing passionately on a forum is grounds for a psychiatric evaluation, then babes, buckle up—because forums like this are the Louvre of unfiltered emotion, and your post is a finger painting done with rage crayons.

You came in swinging like you just discovered the caps lock key and a thesaurus full of judgment, but forgot that receipts are forever and nuance is not your strong suit. Maybe next time instead of tossing out tired labels like “unhinged,” try making an actual argument. You know, with points, structure, and—dare I say—facts. Until then, maybe let the grown-ups finish their conversation before jumping in with a five-word tantrum masquerading as insight.

But hey—thanks for the entertainment, darling. Your projection is showing, and honestly, it’s kind of iconic. Keep it coming.

I keep forgetting to add him to the list of incorrigible RW irritants that I have compiled should I ever become People's Commissar for the Shoalhaven Region. Enemies of the people are everywhere Randy.

These people hold forth in clubs and pubs, on the job and around young people. Being Bros in the RWB will be of little help I'm afraid.

Obviously Jax and his Bikie gang will be first cabs off the rank. I haven't forgotten their MAGA monstering of that poor confused aboriginal young man on Voice day.

Over the last few years the standard of living is at all time lows , the cost of living has skyrocketed- the cost of groceries, building materials, power, health insurance and a multitude of other living costs are now off the scale whilst interest rates are at a all time high - which makes those people with mortgages (particularly 1st home owners) suffer because they cant even afford the interest bill. Interest rates in Australia are the highest in the world.
It wont get any better because the RBA will never drop interest rates whilst the free spending Labor party keep inflation rampant.
If you look at the exchange rate, the Aussie dollar is at an all time low, which means we pay huge amounts for imported products.
We are the laughing stock of the world.
How about Australian business, industry and manufacturing?
Non existant- and during my time I have seen businesses like Pacific Brands (Bonds and Sheridan) Toll Holdings (freight and Transport ) Dulux (Selleys, Dulux paint, Cabots) Sydney Airport, Goodman Fielder, David Jones , Sydney Ports & Logistics business, Mincor (nickel mining) all get taken over by foreign interests and taken off the ASX.
What does the government do to protect Australian business - nothing - sweet FA.
What about giving jobs to our youth?
              I know !!!!!
Why not employ another 40,000 public servants who do nothing but push pens all day and fill out newly invented forms?
Why not hagve a bit of nationalistic pride ?- build Australian and buy Australian and create jobs.
Why not impose a 100% tariff on Chinese cars - Chery, SSayong , Hyudais as well as BMW and Mercedes from Germany - f#ck 'em Id rather buy a Holden or Ford.
What about the power crisis - it makes sense to close our coal fired power stations, whist China has 750 of them operating.
Give yourselves a pat on the back ALP & Greens - you are saving the World.
Australia is one of the most blessed countries in the world - Iron Ore and Mineral deposits, and Gas reserves, unprecedented in volume compared to other countries.
Yet how does the government manage this windfall?
Complete mismanagement- as we as individuals are all heading to the poverty line.
How does that all stack up - yep, our dickhead leader has now created debt of trillions of dollars, despite the windfall at his disposal.
And even thats more amusing when you realise that Autralians are the highest taxed nation in the world- There are 125 Federal Taxes in place (GST is my favourite), as well as a huge array of ripoffs at state level = Land Tax, Stamp Duty being exorbitant, and the best.
How about security? Albanese goes over to China and kisses all their asses, in the name of trade relations.
All whist the Chinese send warships down under.
I know what they are doing - the Chinese plan is to protect Australia !!!!
Albanese doesn't deserve to be re-elected - he deserves to be locked up for treason against the Australian people.
All you lefties can go and get f*cked - the Eastern Suburbs and the Roosters area has always been right wing - so you really don't belong here
PS - hope the Trumet of Patriots make some inroads- to me , they make more sense than the major parties.
              Hilarious.
The Australian people are not stupid & Labor will be re-elected. Dutton will never be PM just have a look at his head.

                  • I might stick a couple of bottles of Tasmanian bubbly in the esky for tomorrow’s election party. Exit polling suggests Pre-School is in danger of losing his seat to Labor’s Ali France.

Dutton’s seat is the most marginal in Queensland, held by a slim 1.7 per cent or 3363 votes at the last election.

                    • Gotta admire the huberis. He's cast the No Policies dice, all or nothing, but this time Murdoch hasn't got a killer punch to sway the nongs. For three years now Sky has fooled itself and its viewers into thinking that most Australians would like to be little Americans.

                      • Oh honey, bless your nostalgic little heart—but it’s time for a reality check.

First off, Holden? That ship sailed in 2020. GM pulled the plug and Holden’s been as dead as dial-up internet ever since. No more new models, no more Aussie manufacturing, just memories and overpriced second-hand Commodores.

And Ford? Sure, they used to make cars here—until 2016. Now? Everything’s imported. You might as well slap a “Made in Thailand” sticker on your Falcon fantasies because it’s not coming out of Broadmeadows anymore.

But here’s the kicker: even when they were made here, they weren’t exactly gold-standard machines. Holden and Ford fans love a bit of V8 bravado, but let’s be real—they rattled like a shopping trolley and aged like milk in the sun. If “bogan chic” was a car category, they’d both win lifetime achievement awards.

So maybe it’s time to stop clinging to the past and admit the truth: the Aussie-made dream died—and honestly, it wasn’t that great to begin with.

I dare say that Elon has doubled Uncle Nick's wealth through his actions.m

He thought he'd cement Tesla's future success by lobbying for the Daaaanld to impose ridiculously large tariffs on Hyundai, BYD and Toyota/Subaru. Instead he cemented his own reputation as a royal douchebag while doubling the price he's gotta pay for the BYD-provided batteries that all of his cars so dearly rely on.
