What MR, you don't surf channels? What, you just stick wif MAFS and then straight on to Survivor? Just kidding, chill.

But what level of intelligence is enthralled with someone "surviving" when there is a camera crew present? Oh hang on, '08, Jax who's obviously a keen Farmer fan (see his post at 1032), Barren the rugged individual I'd think, maybe you, MR, take a sneaky peak now and then though I'd say Bachelor might be more your go and aren't there some bitches on that?. I'd say that Mr. Crab is lost to Farmer now.

I wouldn’t know Paddo. I don’t watch any of them. MasterChef and The Block, yes guilty, but I’m beginning to get sick of the latter.

      • The Block is execrable. A product placement illusion that tempts those that fantasise about homes and renos they could never afford, offering a heavy shot of luxury product materialism in the process. I've never been able to understand the appeal of Masterchef in the 10 minutes or so that I've spent on it. But then I'm happy to enjoy a couple of hours reading Das Kapital, a must for all Economists.

I agree with your first two sentences. It’s why I’m getting sick of it. Looks like you should stick with Farmer, MAFS and the Bachelor etc.

All I see is tax rorts and privileges accruing to the wealthy. Tax cuts for example, always the lion's share to those who really don't need it. The dopey proles are, meanwhile, oblivious. Not understanding financial matters and seemingly much more interested in whether Young Taylor with the big tits "marries" the farmer.
I outlined what i like about Frydenberg, yet you "correct" me about how i come to my conclusions !!

Check out Adam Bandt getting totally owned by Tanya Plibersek last night. His face said it all.

Brandt did make some great points during the night

Greed is the main contributor from humans who only care for the dollar & themselves.
I also play a part in all of it as well.
              mmm yes you allegedly do

What powers your utilities - Electricity/Water
When you put your bins out each week what is in them
Do you own a car - petrol /electric/gas
Do you go on holidays either locally and or OS -you go OS a fair bit to the Philippines - flights one way from Sydney to Manilla produce around 4.4 tonnes of CO2 emissions or more - if you drive locally for your holidays how is your car powered?

              • Keep Gaza in mind on Saturday. The Greens have the most moral policy and we can't just sit by and let things continue. The part that the msm plays in inuring ordinary people to the hell that the US imposes on populations is starkly illustrated in the article below. It is a "must read" and should give food for thought about our ANZAC bacchanale.

Mick doesn't "allegedly" pollute, he pollutes by admission. He's saying that he plays a part in contributing but feels helpless and he's right. He's not the one who can change the situation and he despairs for the future of his progeny. He certainly doesn't need a reminder of his lack of options in all of it but, having said that, it's good King that you remind all of us of our the reality in the hope that we might, at least, change our individual behaviours.

Thanks also for mentioning the mansion earlier, it is very impressive, a Block winner for sure, but I don't understand the derision. Aren't you also a Southern Highlander? That's an old RW trope - deride someone for things you, yourself, hold dear.

                  • IMO the problem with saying 'all major parties are farked... not voting for any of them' is that you can then split the vote/preferences, resulting in unusual outcomes.

Also in 99.99% of cases, electing independents / minor parties ends up with low grade participants, who often raise character concerns. Examples:

                    - The Greens in Canberra had a deputy leader who was openly in a gay 'relationship' with a minor. Pretty easy to do that sorta vetting and be like 'dude, you realise that makes you a paedo!!!'

                    - One Nation candidates (ignoring Pauline Hanson and Mark Latham for a minute) always seem to have some sorta history with violent crimes.

                    - Palmer's an absolute clown. I have no idea what he's on about and no interest in trying to intellectualise it as he's a random troll.

                    - Climate 200 is a weird gimmick that Holmes a Court setup while seeking revenge against Fyrdenberg for sacking him from Kooyong 200. Not quite sure how it works but by claiming to be some 'open source, independent' movement they've temporarily unseated a heap of conservatives. IMO they're more like the oldschool Greens in that they're a climate change party (which chooses not to identify as a party - ) rather than a socialist protest party.

                    - What else? The rest are mostly random defectors who are 'independents' but weren't elected as independents. To me these are some of the worst and defecting should trigger a byelection.

IMO there's only one way to make sure your vote goes towards electing your choice of PM. I get why people go for minor parties but a policy of 'it's the environment, stupid' only goes so far.

Doubtful 08. Too many Climate change deniers, No voters, Farmer and MAFS devotees, Libs and assorted wing nuts on the site. If it happened we'd probably assemble, I'd roll a few welcoming spliffs and get Chuck Berry's greatest hits on Spotify but then someone would call out "Farmer's just started!" and the room would empty, the charge led, no doubt, by The Crab fired up by an uncontrolled mammary obsession. I'd either have to join them of get ripped solo which would obviate me talking and lecturing which wouldn't suit at all.

Pedo Cult you are a paper bag full of shit. You describe yourself as some kind of Communist extremist with a high intellect. However, you are bereft of much intelligence at all.
