Shoalhaven Council are so poorly managed. We get 2 green waste tip vouchers free then you either pay to dump it at the tip or burn it or illegally dump it. 3rd world country treatment.

I hope everyone is staying safe and cool. My little USB fans are working well and I'm grateful to be on the ground floor of an old art deco block like my old place at Rose Bay. These sure do keep the heat out. Looking forward to the cool change on Sunday for 23 degrees. I'll be staying inside until then."Never sacrifice your class to get even with someone who possesses none. Their karma will come and if you are extra lucky, you get to watch."

We get a green waste bin, a recycling bin and a normal bin. We also get one free pick up of bulky waste per year per household maximum 2m square for things like old furniture etc. Pretty useful but Barr keeps putting the rates up by massive amounts every year so I guess it’s a bonus we probably pay for in a way. The temperature has dropped to 28.5 degrees.Originally posted by Bates View Post

Our rates are also creeping up on an annual basis.Originally posted by mightyrooster View Post

When I lived in Bondi, we had Green, Yellow, Blue and Red Bins. It was a binathon. Shoalhaven only have Red and Yellow. Minimalists.
Currently 22.9 degrees on the south coast.

Oh Duchy !!! More theatrics Staying inside due to a little heat. To avoid the heat and keep up your light exercise regime. I suggest some early morning walks and some late evening walks. I’ll be off to the gym very shortly before the weather gets too hot. Then will head to the beach after 4 when the northerly kicks in.Originally posted by Duchess_of_Bondi View PostI hope everyone is staying safe and cool. LOL..Oh Andy..I'm well ahead of you as always. I got up at 4.19am before the alarm went off at 4.50am. No theatrics here. I've done all my healthy food prep as well for the coming week.Originally posted by Andrew Walker View Post

Just organised, calm, zen, sensible living my dear friend
,
I did get a new face mask but it's the skin care variety with pawpaw extract as one must keep up ones Duchess good looks even when it's holiday time. After all, we are not Souths fans and must be well groomed always.
Stay cool at the gym my friend and exercise responsibly. xx"Never sacrifice your class to get even with someone who possesses none. Their karma will come and if you are extra lucky, you get to watch."

Inner West council supplied us with those lovely little FOGO bins with biodegradable bags for the kitchen benches to go out into the green bins. We live in a small unit complex of eight units and had one green bin but recently got a second green bin as we have yard cleaners come around fortnightly and the bin was getting full with leaf and garden debris quite often.Originally posted by Bates View Post

I was at the Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival back in 2019 and they had bin rangers. One of them should've been a highway patrol officer. He'd hide waiting for someone to put their rubbish in the wrong coloured bin. No fines just a dressing down. It was quite entertaining to watch. I was also surprised he wasn't clocked.Originally posted by horrie hastings View Post
