LOL.he who knows what street I live on..

I'm a leader, not a follower, anyway by nature. I 'run my own race' which comes from having jockeys in my family. Mum had the same attitude to life and I take after her..

Seriously though, it's a fantastic article. My family have had similar written about them up in QLD and Dad was mentioned in a book about local bakers who also ran fruit shops and milk bars, hence me feeling an affinity with the article and photos.

            • Last night sugar cane prawns and a superb red duck curry with lychees and sweet potato at Hot Myrtle at Grassy Head.
Tonight decided to head into the local town of Stuarts Point for the meat raffles and Chinese at the club. Shared duck spring rolls and steamed dim sims then chicken with oyster sauce and fried rice, pretty decent and also won a meat tray with rissoles, sausages and bacon plus eggs so that will be great for a BBQ and also breakfast once we move to our next lot of accomodation tomorrow.

              • Prawns turned into a Prawn Korma with the help of a Spice Tailor Korma pack. Quick, easy and restaurant quality imo.

                • Have the option of medium King Prawns and then Pearl Perch and salad or onion and tomato rissoles, beef sausages and bacon for dinner tonight, what ever option i don't have is tomorrow nights dinner.

Had a prawn and lettuce roll from Dave's seafood at Nambucca Heads, it was excellent.

OMG Mum's family did actually run the motel on Curlewis St. Haircut 100 came to stay once and they wanted to make a video clip around the pool area.

Foodwise, I don't have an appetite in this weather. Nothing interesting happening here to report..just cold stone fruit and vege sticks.

Can't wait for cold weather..stockpot on the stove and Roosters on the telly..or laptop..
