    • Just making some basil pesto to store away using up the wilting basil plant we have before we go away.

      • Basil pesto is yummo, just put in the freezer in an old ice cube tray seeing we are going away in a few days so we can use when we want, will be nice stirred through pasta.

          I made a yummy basil pesto salad for my family get together the other week. It was really good and my eldest said I need to make it more often.

              Just picked some of the balcony pot to throw into a salad and they have a very strong pungent garlic flavour when i bit into a bit, it really got my taste buds dancing.

              As for another way of making mash interesting i chuck in some wholegrain mustard into it, love it like that especially when having it with pork chops.

              • Home made beef burgers and chips.

                The absolute hold the phone stop it game changer imo for hot chips is dried rosemary once your chips come out of the oil or oven. Also rock salt and pepper which is a given.

                                I've been having passionfruit gelato as a treat when it's over 30 degrees.

                                Tonight it's smoked salmon salad with various leftover veges.
