Basil pesto is yummo, just put in the freezer in an old ice cube tray seeing we are going away in a few days so we can use when we want, will be nice stirred through pasta.

I made a yummy basil pesto salad for my family get together the other week. It was really good and my eldest said I need to make it more often.
Yes they definitely would. It would also make a nice change up to the standard mash every now and then.
Just picked some of the balcony pot to throw into a salad and they have a very strong pungent garlic flavour when i bit into a bit, it really got my taste buds dancing.
As for another way of making mash interesting i chuck in some wholegrain mustard into it, love it like that especially when having it with pork chops.
