There is a simple reason we lost today.

COMPLACENCY.

We expected an easy game, a walk in the park. We turn up we win. It’s that simple.

with a quality team, if they are complacent, it should be addressed at halftime, we were only down by 8.

Bellamy seemed to get a nice response after halftime, even with 3 injured players, a new player roster with no combos either.

No Munster,Bromwich,Nicho,finucane,ado-carr and then losing BSmith early and Welch and Jennings.

we should have done a lot better, it will be interesting how they respond next week, I don’t mind a loss, it’s how we lose that I mind.

Failed his HIA assessment i understand

No he didn't fail his HIA. He had no concussion symptoms but under the new rules was not allowed to go back on once his 'concusiion' was ruled a Category 1 by the 'guy in the sky'

Fair bit of truth in this. Little respect shown to the Knights defence with plenty of loose carry's and resultant coughed up possession in the collision, along with some poor one on one misses from players who are better defender than they showed yesterday .

We shouldn't forget that we fielded players returning from long term injury. Players who played zero pre season footy and players in key positions who haven't played together previously or at least for quite some time. Other teams can make the same argument but so what. We have to find our way and we will. Yes, were poor yesterday and I suspect we will be poor again from time to time but we will be around when it matters.

Hopefully Victor is ok, for mine he is the leader of that team and we really need him on the park. Also thought SST was moving really well yesterday and there might be some good footy coming from him this season.

I was sure it would be addressed at half time. I was convinced we would turn it around in the second half.

Thats why he is truly the best coach in the NRL.
Has never lost a Rd 1 game in 20 years. The guy demands the best from his players from game 1, no losing & coming out with "we werent ready"

The $30 parking was on the grass opposite the SCG.
The grass carpark opposite the SFS with the two white tubular barrier gates was closed.
Cop said "won't be opening today, not enough crowd".
Driver avenue closed at SFS...construction.
Cop then politely directed us back to Anzac Pde..."turn left, go to Lang Rd, turn left, turn left into Driver Ave, follow signs into carpark".
Lovely.
Drove in ...along to the booths.
Gave the very helpful lady my card.
She gave me a largish receipt to put on the dash...for $30.
