The wait is finally over. After not having the opportunity to see our side play live for many months we finally return to our home ground at the SCG.

Welcome back Luke, Lindsay, Connor and Momo.

Lots of so called experts have predicted us to win the comp this year. Today we can show all the doubters why.

Goes without saying, we are likely to be a little disjointed this early on with a few players having not played much or any footy in the trials. Super keen to see the RW&B on the park again and will l be happy with the two points with the actual performance secondary.

Also, really hoping to see the foundations of a new Bondi Wall being laid early on this season.

Penrith set a pretty high bar on Thursday night. I doubt we’ll match that in the earlier rounds , but I hope to see the foundations of a team that reach that level & beyond by seasons end.

Watch what a cat that Ponga is today. Rarely runs the ball from fullback. Always looking for his wingers to take the hit up. I hope we get a hold of him at some point and mess his hair the pansy. He’s only interested in touching the ball in a scoring opportunity. Unlike our Teddy.
