I now know that nobody is a Charlie Brown/Peanuts fan on this forum.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bon_Vo...t_Come_Back!!)

In the movie Charlie Brown is sent to France as an exchange student. He has a miserable time. But he gets to play the hero, which is completely against the premise of Peanuts.

Hope he kills it over there.
Cade Cust who I rate from Manly is going over to the Superleague, he will be playing for Wigan the club I follow in the SL.

Good luck to Mitch, cant take away from the fact that he was long term player at the Roosters and every time I watched him play I was in his corner. That said, imo he is the most overrated player to have played in the NRL the last 20 years. Adam O'Brien must be thanking his lucky stars he's freed up $800,000 that was being poured down the gurgler

Couldn’t have said it any better myself. Best of luck to him in France.

238 first grade games & a premiership as a Rooster.....he always gave our club 100%.

I really hope he excels in the SL & life off the field is just as good- he deserves it

He went ok , he is a bit if a tosser and a sook I'm glad he left the chooks .
apart from the 2013 grand final he was definitely no big game player and if anything a little overated....

Would of fitted our modern style of play at 13 similar to how Rads plays as a 2nd half.

Shame he didn't stick around when we signed Cronk to see this, but I guess if that happened they might of left Radley at hooker.

I often wonder if most of the people on this forum watched the same football games I did. The vast difference between the amount of times Cooper Cronk or Luke Keary got the team a repeat set compared to Mitchell Pearce is apparent to anyone who studies the game. Even Sam Walker and Drew Hutchison got more repeat sets in their brief tenure together.

My problem with Pearce isn't his lack of skills as a runner or ball passer, it's that he is not now nor was he ever a halfback. If Catalans put him in the centres or at lock where he belongs, he would give them value for money.

I'm glad he's gone overseas so I never need bring him up again.

Like a little kid trying to get your point across even when you can see most don,t agree with you. The bloke sweated blood for us , won us many game and did his best with the team around him . Agree he would have been a better lock but that,s not where the team asked and wanted him to play . Great roosters and if you our I where in his position we most likely would have reacted the same.

The polish on the end of a set of 6 was always his achilles heel and held Pearce back from going to the next level.
If he could match his physical effort with some some soft touches and fineness he would be in elite category along with the best halfbacks.
that's no personal attack it's just my opinion of his ability.
Can't knock his effort in the tri colours

I just watched Pearce playing a Flegg game for us on YouTube. There was very little pressure on him and I shit you not he put a grubber that far dead it went into the grandstand lol

everyone knew his end of sets were poor, we made 2 gfs and won 3 mp's with him at half , his getting injured at the end of 15 maybe cost us a premiership.

don't dare say we succeeded despite him, a half is the fulcrum of a team , guy could play , not as well as cooper , but best nsw had tp offer .so stop the hate. guy loved the club.
