That’s like saying Cronk never woulda won a comp if Smith, Slater and Bromwich didn’t play with him. Thing is... they did.
Why would you want to play second fiddle to another overated halfback in Cherry Evans?Cronk has dominated at Origin & steered his team to more than one premiership,if Pearce was to put the team first he would have stayed.
.
The world is full of Kings & Queens, who blind your eye's & steal your dreams!
Does no 3rd party agreements mean that even with all Nicks connections we couldnt find a business that wanted to have Pearce attached to their name? If so, that speaks volumes.
People think we have access to a lot of third party agreements. It’s garbage. We simply don’t.

Would have been a game corporate to have a TPA with Pearce though one has to say. If we have 1million under the cap what is the plan -purchase another prop/centre- upgrade contracts?? - don't know who is really available as most players wanted would have signed with someone by now one would say.

The hold up with Maloneys move to Penrith is that he opened his big mouth whilst being interviewed & said that he is waiting for the club to fix up the TPA's they had organised. Problem being clubs arent allowed to organise TPA's. Interesting to see what the NRL do about that.
You are obviously another fanboy that does not read things, 1 nor anyone of his many detracters, questioned his committment on field, that was never an issue, his ability to step up when it counted was non existant, what is worse is his bullshit carry on off the field, he is 27. not a kid and treated the club, his team mates, the fans and the sponsors with contempt on many occasions. This is what i disliked about the bloke more than anything
A fanboy?
Why,because I accepted long ago he was no JT and never would be?
It’s his detractors like you buddy that expected more from him but could not handle the fact he wasn’t the player you all wanted him to be.
Blokes with way more knowledge about rugby league then keyboard warriors like you kept him on despite his shortfalls both on and off the field

No i put player before club, i can forgive on field garbage because it happens, more for some than others, what i cannot forgive is regular off field indiscretions that lose us club sponsors and drag the clubs name through the ringer, if if was a once off, no drama, a second time, no biggie nit i would be a little worried, but with this bloke it was endless, the club are part to blame because they chose to keep things " in house" however the longer the lead the more he took.
Those same blokes that know alot more about footy than i have seen the error in their ways and replaced him with a true professional
Good on them
Put Simply the bloke gave his all but was an imbocile and loose cannon, he needs to get out of Sydney, get himself right and get the help he needs, according to some that follow him on social media, the Buddhism faith he found whilst in rehab for a drinking problem he didnt have worked a treat.
As for not being the player i wanted him to be, please he has been an above average first grade footballer for 10 years, i can live with that and have
Problem is he is an elite level party boy with little respect for the positions he put the club in and what they done to save him

Once or twice can be classified as being the larrikan etc etc, i can cop that, this bloke has had an endless amount of second chances and final warnings, when your club and coaches have gone to great lengths to protect you, rehabilitate you and help you and you continually let them down through stupidity it is taking the piss and treating those that have done everything in their power to help you with contempt, surely a 10 yr veteran on 800k a year knows better and can pull his bloody head in
Hmm. An endless amount of second chances? I can recall two worth mentioning.

I saw Reynolds crying in front of me after the game and yelled out 'WHAT ARE YOU CRYING ABOUT?!?!? GO SAY SORRY TO COOPER YOU GRUB!!!' He looked up at me with a pretty broken looking face.

in your opinion who would be the top 5 half backs to ever of played for the Roosters?
K Junee, Mayes, Horrie, Freeman, Spina, Georgallis, Lam, Wing, Sam Obst, Justin Holbrook, Firman, Green, Finch, Pearce.
Just wondering what role Joey had in the decision to replace Pearce. Perhaps Joey came to the realisation he could not be developed into an elite player??
imagine what Joey can do with Cronk and keary....salivating
Great player, but Johns doesn't have any runs on the board in coaching ok halves into elite ones in my book (or have I missed something?).

Gee, its not like those trends aren't rife in society. He's just representative of them.

Pearce can join Kevin Junee and Johnny Mayes on the Easts - Manly halfback merry go round. Hopefully he doesn't read the premiership trends as well as Johnny did more like Junee did.
Mayes Hastings Freeman Lam Wing and Pearce were my standouts pretty much in that order.

From that list, in no particular order, Junee, Mayes, Horrie, Freeman, Lam, Wing misses out as he is the best interchange player we have seen
