Cronk came out at the end of the season and said he will only make/announce his decision at the end of the World Cup. So no point holding our breath.

the longer it drags out the less i really care if he comes or not.. It sounds like retirement or roosters only so we dont really miss out if he retires . There are more important things in life than if cooper cronk retires or plays. I think he needs to get over himself

This is where I see the gap in the team...leadership...!!!
Cronk may not be Thurston as far as individual brilliance (even Johnson) but he oozes leadership in spades, on and off the field.
If you are behind the posts and need a clear head to steady the ship, I'm sure all players would listen to him and follow his leadership without hesitation.

i am neither a Pearce apologist nor anti-cronk. My view and experience is that i would rather a player be whole-hearted in wanting to be at the club and i have seen no signs of this in the way Cronk is handling this.

in regard to Pearce and Australia Day, i believe it was a stupid act that was blown completely out of proportion.
