I'd be happy to release Friend. Jake was just so poor to end to season and I'm sick of his disastrous kicking options which cost us time and time again.

I'd been a defender of both he and Pearce for years. But after the absolute debacle that was the Cowboys game they are now indefensible and it would appear that key decision makers at the club share many of our beliefs that the Pearce-Friend combo can no longer take us all the way.

So Cronk really is a no brainer. Hopefully on a 2 year deal.
