My view is that Pearce has been a disappointing failure and was recruited because of his namesake but never ever lived up to the hype. He was a complete failure in Origin. The one series he missed NSW won. Carney, SBW and now Kearney made him look way better than he is. Extremely poor, very uncreative, very predictable kicking game. Played a handful of great games usually leading up to Origin then became an onlooker and passenger.

If there’s a top quality half on the market and we can afford him I say let’s buy. 3 preliminary final losses have a lot to do with your half. He just never amounted to much so let’s get a REAL half if we can!

The email from the club today announcing next years draw has Cordner and Latrell as the faces for next year. You could read between the lines a little but really it's just 2 players out of 30 that got their mugs in this promo. I reckon something's there though.
All the players are either on their end of year holidays or playing World Cup, so the club would somehow have to chat to them personally rather than just through their managers.
