Ferguson was fantastic at fullback at the back end of last season, when Latrell went to the wing.

He made plenty of errors IIRC, but, regardless, if he was as good as you say he'd be our #1. Is he our next best option? I guess we will find out.

Apart from the fact Gordon kicks goals I think our attack will be even more potent if Watson plays fullback It does remain to be seen how Connor handles the high ball

Fergo and Toops will need to support him with these kicks I suggest

I don't understand why everyone is panicking when no-one knows or has heard anything concrete about how long he will be out.

I myself am waiting to hear what Queen Salvos prediction is and then I know the opposite will occur.

The question is whether we are compromising the roster to facilitate a goal-kicker. Gordon doesn't even come close to the top 10 fullbacks, and it will be even worse on the wing.

Having a goal kicker in the side doesn't compromise the roster you ****ing clown. NOT having a goal kicker would cost any team their season.

Gordon is behind Slater, Boyd, and Trbojovic on 2017 performances. thats it. Long term prospects and total potential, then sure you can slot another 3-4 guys in front of him. But fact is Gordon gives you a solid 8 every single week without fail. The others will occasionally give you that 9 or 10 game, but far too often (especially this year) come up with a 4, 5, or 6.

And, once again, we lost 3-4 games off the back of goal kicking in 2016. We have won 3-4 games because of Gordon's goal kicking this year. Without gordon in the side, we are likely not in the 8 at this stage of the season. Hence why goal kicking is so ****ing important

We must still be a good chance with our four home games and hopefully we can jag one or two of our three away games.
At his age they're probably worried about sending him back too soon.
