Does anyone know if he has ever played hooker, and if so was he any good?

Hooker is one of the more specialised positions on the field and Cornish doesn't scream hooker to me. He is a halfback.....

Ferguson at FB - FMD. Anyone remember his absolute refusal to take a bomb on the full last year when the played there? He'd let the bloody thing bounce and flounder around trying to get hold of it. And then there was his suspect positional play.

We need someone at the back who will give an 80 minute effort - and that aint Ferguson, and hasn't been since 2015. Mind you, it's not Latrell either this season ...

At least with Connor at FB we'd get plenty of energy and enthusiasm. I can cope with the rookie mistakes if they're not made through lack of effort. Aubs or Cornish can play hooker and Ferguson can do what he does best nowadays - bludge on the wing.

Although id rather not Aubs to hooker, struggling for alternative if Williams or Garvey don't fit the bill.

So one bouncing ball rules him out of contention? My recollection is that Blake Ferguson was fantastic at fullback last year once Mitchell went to the wing. I think it was for the last 5 or 6 weeks?

It wasn't one bouncing ball, it was all of them. If he ever gets to play FB again, I'm sure he will refresh your memory. The bloke is incapable of playing decently on the wing, let alone FB. Last night's Origin was a prime example of that. Val Holmes made him look the very average player he is - the joke was on NSW for picking he and old plodder Morris on the wings.
