Toups problem until this year has been his weight and power. He always got manhandled and pushed back in tackles. It was harder for him to get to the ground also. This year he is so much bigger looking, especially around his rump and legs..... he never gets dominated very often and has also found his way of getting to the ground first.
Even in defence he is hitting and sticking more often and making smarter decisions. Really enjoyed watching his development. Seems like a decent human being also!!!

I remember my early years as a Roosters fan like it was yesterday - 2000-2004. Basically the Freddy era when I was a teenager.
Dallas Hood. Quentin Pongia. Scott Logan. Ian Rubin. Etc.
I can certainly recall there contributions so I'm well aware why his nickname was Dancin' Dallas.
Lighten up, champ. I don't really think he's softer than my grandmother

I often say silly things in the heat of the moment that I'd probably disagree with a day later after I've calmed down.
But why does this bother some people so much? Imo if run of the mill player criticism in a gameday thread offends people then I fear for their ability to navigate their way through a harsh world.
And for their sake I'm glad they never grew up on a Kop watching English football. The things you'd hear would evidently have some members here crying for days.
I think glass houses come into affect here. Can anyone really say that they've NEVER abused a player when they're having a shocker? Hmm I doubt it.

I was already counting my $20K when the ref (I think Archer) went to look at it and they found he was offiside on the kick. I haven't done a bet like it since.
That's an out and out tragedy but there is a funny part too. I gave him the ticket (he was astounded when he looked at it) and he pinned it to the board in the player's room. None of them could believe someone would back him - let alone that much. For me it was overs because the bookies thought he was a bench player but he was starting most weeks. And he was often thereabouts.
