And I disagree, Toops plays his best footy when his contract is all sorted. In early 2015 he wasn't having the greatest year then as soon as he re-signed he hit his 2013/14 form. So the length is actually a good thing.

I think 4yrs is great business Mickie. Toups is truly one of those guys that will always stay with what he knows and loves. Even if it meant taking less. That's what King Salvo couldn't get his head around. Money doesn't always talk.
I don't think his contract will break us. Toups has plenty of good footy left.

In fairness to the King these things change constantly.

Things that appear certain often end up getting turned upside down.
