My worry is that it'll cost us a top 4 spot. And you can't win the comp outside the top 4 imo. At the very least it becomes infinitely more difficult.

The Dragons will make the top 4 as they have an absolute dream draw to finish the season. Seriously check it out. And they're largely unaffected by Origin so I think they'll displace one of the Origin hit teams.

Hopefully that's not us.

But if Pearce and Cordner miss this weeks match we probably lose and suddenly thats 2 losses in a row down solely to Origin. It's ****ed.

Tommy, I think that if ever there was a season where a team from outside the top four could win, it's this one. We've already seen that just about every team this year bar maybe 2 can be a genuine threat to any other side. It's a very close race this year and if we finished 5th or 6th, I wouldn't be too worried.

In the past 7 years, only 3 teams from outside the top four have made the last 4 standing, on all 3 occasions those 3 have reached the grand final but lost(easts 10, warriors 12 and dogs in 14) so it is extremely hard to do anything from outside the 4.

Apperently Chambers entered an early guilty plea and is free to play this weekend...what a joke. two suspendable offences on pearce both get off.

It was a grade 1 charge, he copped a $1550 fine, free to play this week.

I agree milanja that it's been difficult in the past. I just tend to think that this year, more than any other for quite a while, is a much more open race.

Pearce was very good last night, and those tries that came after he came off had a bit to do with how he led the team around the park while he was on

I would have loved GI to have played last night, NSW would have scored more tries running through that useless fat lazy prick until he got injured and had to crawl off
