I have to say though that was some of the worst refereeing I have ever seen. 1000 forward passes by NSW and 1000 head shots by QLD.

Yet thinking about it, it made for a decent game

Boyd hadn't got a case to answer. Myles had hold of his jersey.

He came up with two great passes. In fact, they are the only two times I have seen him pass.

Normal service was resumed when he bombed a try.

I hate QLD but why wasn't that a NSW knock-on? Duges stripped the ball and it either hit the ground or hit Guerra while going forwards... looked like a try to me for some reason.

Or am I just confusing it because he tackled from behind so 'forwards' was actually backwards then Guerra dropped it? Guessing that's my error.

Thinking about it after posting the comment I probably disagree with it too, I was just pissed off with the number of head shots by QLD and worried about all NSW forward passes more than the refereeing of them

Yeah I thought it was a blatant shoulder charge to the head. Meh QLD were grubs all night... grabbing on for way too long, jersey grabs while being tackled to try and milk penalties (wtf?!?), canetoads lying all over the ball, a heap of high shots... and they still lost!!! Was riveted to see QLD worn out and getting pounded at the end. Rare stuff there!

Peats made such a big difference and with no Gallen. Classier capt makes a helluva difference. Gagai was very very impressive in a well played game by Qld but the blues a real team tonite.

McGuire on 3 occasions ..swinging arm into the head of NSW player in the tackle. Not oince penalised !
