Chin up Tommy. The cream always rises to the top. The good thing is that the other top teams Melbourne, Brisbane and Sharks are also heavily affected.

My worry is that it'll cost us a top 4 spot. And you can't win the comp outside the top 4 imo. At the very least it becomes infinitely more difficult.

The Dragons will make the top 4 as they have an absolute dream draw to finish the season. Seriously check it out. And they're largely unaffected by Origin so I think they'll displace one of the Origin hit teams.

      Hopefully that's not us.

But if Pearce and Cordner miss this weeks match we probably lose and suddenly thats 2 losses in a row down solely to Origin. It's ****ed.

I agree Dragons are a good bet for the four - they have only three matches (Manly at home, Raiders and Broncos away) against other top 8 teams.

barring any injury, sharks have a dream origin draw, at home until after Origin 3, only 1 "away", us at central coast, and unless I need specsavers, the only game with a depleted sharks side will be their holy grail Saturday night home affair against the bleedin Tigers

I don't know why I do it (clearly I'm a masochist) but reading Comments on the Telecrap, there's a vocal selection of mouth-breathers saying Pearce was awful and we scored 3 tries when he went off, etc.

Ffs, how dumb and blind would you have to be to truly think that? A big part of me suspects these are posted by Murdoch staffers fanning flames.

              Cnuts.

NSW VB Blues halfback Mitchell Pearce is okay after sustaining a concussion in last night’s Origin victory – and he’s desperate to continue NSW’s winning ways in the second match of the 2017 series at ANZ Stadium in under three weeks.
“A little dizzy, I feel alright,” Pearce said of his condition after arriving at Sydney airport this afternoon.
“I feel a bit sea sick which was what I was feeling last night. I haven’t had too many concussions in my career and it got me good.”

From the moment he went down last night, he was no chance of playing this weekend.

We have Broncs this week end and they will have a few out too , Milflop wont play because of HIA and 3 day turn around, maybe a few of their forwards will pull up sore as well - Gillet looked wounded last night, Oates has dickie knees and was hobbling in the game - should be an even chance.

All we need is an even go and it will be a game.

                      • We need Napa and Cordner to back up.

Our forwards got dominated last time we played them.

Mate for the mouth breathers as you call them (lol) it wouldn't matter what Pearcey did good bad or otherwise.

They have his papers stamped " incompetent and never to be respected" in their thick boneheads.

That will remain the case even after he leads NSW to five series wins in a row.

                            • Funny, one caller said his qld mate said "we didn't have Thurston,GI, slater," the nsw supporter said "well we haven't had them for the past 10yrs either!"
