  • State of Origin I: Rooster Watch

    Blues to win by 8.

Pearce and Cords to have blinders. Teddy to win MotM.

Game one could be anything. Near impossible to predict imo.

I'm still hoping for a blues win and of course the Roosters reps to play well.

as a Queenslander, I obviously want Queensland to win, all Roosters to play well (especially Pearce) but MAINLY no injuries to any roosters
There's a reason why the young and idealistic become the old and cynical.
        It's called experience.

I feel sorry for Aaron Woods.
He's been such a busy boy and has been under so much pressure dodging questions and being booed.

He needs a break. Maybe Napa will give him a free trip to disneyland.

Agreed. Hope Aiden and Dylan go well (but in, hopefully, a losing team).

Looking forward to it. I reluctantly think qld will win this one, but i hope the roosters boys play well and Pearce gains some respectability at this level.

The problem is that if Queensland wins, Pearce will not gain any respectabilty as even if he is the best player on the field the media and social media experts will make him the scape goat for our loss.

Anyway NSW by 8 with Cordner MOTM, good luck all Rooster reps and hopefully no injuries.

Blues by 20. I reckon we will be too hot for them first up.

I couldn't give a rats about origin, my only concern tonight is that the Roosters boys come through unscathed.

Good luck to all the RWB boys. That's the jersey that counts.

                        Wouldn't mind an all-in

Agreed but that's what's do frustrating about origin now. It's more of a slap and a tickle because players don't want to miss any club time for jobbing some bloke.

It should always be a stand alone contest and the new age fairy rules thrown at the window. It's supposed to be the pinnacle of our game and played by the toughest and best players.

                            My thoughts exactly.
                            Not too worried about Guerra.
I don't wanna see him get hurt, but I think it's unlikely to happen on the field.

Maybe he's more at risk tripping over an extension cord while doing an interview.

I have turned over to 9 because tragically fox are not showing the origin, who is the clown hosting 9 these days, looks young and like he tries to hard, unnatural. Time to spend some more money fox and get simulcast rights.
