i said in a post yesterday that keary needs to earn his spot and watsons needs to remain in fg . our form player last year and continued thru into this tournament. for the so called experts who say watson has no vision and cant pass go have a look at the pass to lewis. a match winning pass that got us into the final as victors.

Goes to show how important a bit of luck is in tight games. I think we had our fair share. Go Roosters..............

                • The Roosters will be the biggest movers in this years comp.

                  • I know we all have mixed feelings about Carter and his background - I just love how he wants to win; he and Watson both have that drive. The main difference is they don't overplay their hand.

                    • Good stuff! Loved the desire shown in defence. Loved the fact a few young blokes got a jump out and acquitted themselves well. Should be a huge shot in the arm for morale and a real incentive to keep pressing on, whatever they have been doing in training is yielding early results. Thought a few of last year's rookies showed they have really matured and definitely belong in first grade. And how good is it to see Aubbo get his moment - so richly deserved!

                      • Im surprised they won its a good sign for their attitude coming into the comp.Great Defence which is what won it like the Chooks of 13 -Great Defence and controlled no panic attack.Good effort.

Was still undecided on his skills as a half, but to position himself to throw those cutouts is promising.

I would like someone in the team to be able to kick long so Pearce dosent have to do it all the time

I just love the idea of players pressuring others to make a spot in the 13. For all his rep experience Guerra is one that could be challenged once everyone is back on board.

and also, just want to call out my love for SST.
