Norman's not going anywhere. His manager is just squeezing Parra for everything he can get.

There's that word again, squeeze. Norman will get $800k in his next deal without a problem. The only question is will the NRL let the Eels keep using those blue-gold Fischer-Price calculators...

We need to learn how to "squeeze"

Cows have released Matthew Wright (approx 150k a year) and will try and squeeze Coote in for 2 more years.

I'd image Cootes asking price would be upwards of 500k so it i'll be a tight squeeze.

We did that when we signed Willie Wanka. IMO spending ALL your money isn't smart at all. It's like spending your whole pay cheque on pay day because you really 'NEED' something.

Thurston turns 33 next week (happy b'day BTW mate.) The Cowboys will NEVER get a half who is that good, that cheap, with local 3rd parties willing to chip in. I know we're a pretty rubbish example this year, but they could be faaaaarked in a few years when he retires. Whereas, I think we've got solid foundations + MONEY that will last us (just gotta kick this current slump.)

I predict that the Cowboys will sign Coote for 4 years, costing them PREMIUM DOLLAR (thanks to us putting in a last minute bid - which may or may not have been a serious one.) JT's gonna retire during that time, they'll have SUPER ordinary halves (rater than the best half of this generation) and they won't have any money left over to fill the gaps that JT kept hidden. Coote will be good, but not GREAT and they'll be going 'faaaark... why did we push so hard to squeeze this guy under the cap?!?!?' They'll look like some fool on payday who has spent all his cash on an expensive hipster suit, who then has to take out a personal loan for a soy chai latte.

PS - Cowboys just re-signed Winterstein. Another squeeze? Moga must be getting paid a LOOOT of money to sit around injured too (given they lured him north with a generous deal that we couldn't match... remember when Moga and RTS were our 2 juniors expected to go far?)

Pearce is not wooried about the money, he enjoys all party deals especially the #rd, 4th and 5th party deals

Our Mitchell has as fine-a-pedigree as you'd find, you mongrel. You should treat him as a Pal or Chum, not some rabid creature, you complete wag. Please stop throwing him to the wolves - it's the tail-end of this particular saga and don't you think it's about time you rolled-over and let this issue just play dead? Let's just shake, fetch a cup of tea and just stay. Staaaay... Good boy.

Thats all well and good until he is once again burying his bone in the bitch next door and you will be barking mad when someone you know is the one he has begging, howling and rolling over.
