Triple M news just said that Norman not getting the bucks he wants at Parramatta and the Roosters front runners to get him. (or words to that effect)
I know we are always mentioned in this kind of stuff yada yada, but thought you'd like to discuss.

According to the media, we are not going to offer him $800k it will be less. I guess it comes down to what Parramatta put on the table and if it is quite low or with 3rd party deals then he may go to another club if the offer is more than the Parramatta deal. If it is around $600 to $650k mark, I would say yes to him.

LOL yeah SBW was on $550k? Storm's probably paying Slater and Cronk about $800k each under the cap? Norman's a fringe 1st grade FB/half who was not needed by Brisbane. I don't want us to become 'Brisbane B's' and pay a boot load for it.

I'd offer him $200k. Stop. Yeah, and we wouldn't get him for that clearly. However, I back Pearce, Hastings and Mitchell above Norman. He'd just be a waste of salary cap space.

Unless... his manager sent Robbo and POS a video of him slotting a few conversions?

Exactly mate. I'm not a fan of Norman. Not terrible but he has certainly got nothing on James Maloney imo. So why did we let Jimmy go.

I agree. There is a huge difference between what Norman does in 9s, to what he does in 13s

Norman can play. The one aspect of his game that let him down in the past was his vision. He'd often run with the ball or turn it back inside when there was an overlap out wide.

I think he's corrected that deficiency in his game.

With the shortage of quality halves he'll get 800k a year somewhere and good luck to him.

I don't believe for a second that where interested though!

It would be Salt in the wound after losing Maloney.

Mitchell is our fullback now. Nikorima is greener than a Cheech &Chong spliff but he will be our 5/8 going forward.

We need to accept it's a rebuilding year.

A goal kicking outside back is a priority.
