Hard to compare Mini now before his back injury his stats read better than all of them ...only Shek has better. Put his lost 3 years or so in and probably a lot of records go his way but the 2002-05 min was pretty awesome.

Alexander was a genius. Also played in an era surrounded by great halves and fullbacks in belcher, jack, brasher, mortimer, sterling, stuart, langer.

The potential is there for him to eventually surpass Stapo, but he will have to work on his speed running out of the tunnel, at the moment it's just not up to standard.

Agree with both. Smith is incredible - he's the best player I've ever seen.

I have jt marginally ahead of Smith and Johns as the best players I've ever seen. With freddy my all time favourite player but again just behind the others. People can get riled up all they like but this is only my opinion. Granted I've only been watching footy for just over 20 years and so missed the 80s and prior.
