Rlw is reporting that the chooks are preparing to make a play for Holmes. Always thought the sharks might loose one of the three fullbacks they have at their disposal. Just glad it is Holmes that might be looking for another club if he is not the sharks No 1 fullback at the start of round 1. His management is set to ask for a release & we are primed to pounce. How good would that be.

Yes, definitely would be good to have him.
Although I'm not sure how reliable this source is and i can't see how the Sharks would let him go.......unless he is causing significant problems within the club. In which case, we wouldn't want trouble of that magnitude surely?

I mean why would Latrell hang around for another 5 years to get a crack at the Fullback position he wants.
Latrell could easily switch to the centres. I haven't heard him come out and say that its fullback or bust. I think he actually played a lot of 6 growing up as well

Who said anything about throwing him in there straight away? Go back and check out GI's career, the player everybody likens Mitchell too. He started off on the wing at Melbourne for a season or so, before moving into the centres. Give it another 12 months or so and Mitchell will be a big as most back rowers running at him anyway and I'm sure like most good footballers, his decision making will improve with time
