My thinking is that it is more a bullying situation than a race thing, people see how he reacts, and now they pick on his weak spot. If it was a fully racial thing, then about 40% of the afl players would be booed.Comment

I don't see Thurston being booed any more than Maloney or any other player? Thurston treats booing as what any normal sportsman has to wear. Then again if he did the indigenous dance aimed at opposition fans then he'd be targeted like 'Goodsy'. This is so ridiculous.

It is clear that this is racially motivated behaviour against one particular player and the denials and justification of this behaviour are rather sad to see but unsurprising with the history of racism in this country and the modern day racism we see also. It is a deep rooted national past time that needs to be eradicated.Comment

As I have said before 99.9% of booers are sheep. There may be a small contingent that do it racially but the majority are doing it because everyone else is doing it. They are the opposition team so they boo. They probably do it thinking that they get under Goodes' and the Swans skin like most opposition supporters do and they have succeeded.
I would bet my left nut that of all the people that boo that you will find indigenous people amongst them. You are naive if you think they don't.
