You'd have to think it's the former.

It's rare we would have a screw up of this order.

Well if Freddy says it on national TV that Maloney might go to the Titans, then he's as good as gone...

I don't think the club was going to re-sign SKD until RTS pulled the pin. So he would've taken part of that money.

If Maloney goes, I hope the contingency plan includes a goalkicker. Would hate to see Pearce and Cordner sharing the goalkicking duties.

SKD signed for less than his last contract to stay a 1 club man and there are quite few 1 year contract players to be released at seasons end. Both Lopini and Matagi are in Robbo's 2016 calculations depending on the preseason.

This system has always been on daylight saving time. Even the old server.

SKD might have stayed for less but it's still a figure the Roosters weren't accounting for.

Say SKD re signed for 300k, if the Roosters had re signed RTS they probably would've let SKD go and put someone like Charlie Taylor (for example) in SKDs place paying him a salary of 80k. That's a difference of 220k.

I wouldn't go near maloney based on his form this year, let alone offer him 1 mil per season. Very ordinary tonight.
                      Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

DCE had $300,000 in 3rd party contracts lined up at the Titans.

Why can't we get the same for Maloney and keep him?

He was a turnstile for their attack today...

                            The English winger got it?

Maybe he can hold the ball.

He also scored our only points.
He played a lot better than Jennings.
